Differential Craton Destruction Controlled by Fossil Structures in the Central North China Craton
Abstract Craton evolution plays a fundamental role in stabilizing the continental lithosphere and the long‐term evolution of Earth's surface environment. The Shanxi Rift Zone (SRZ) within the North China Craton marks an ongoing craton destruction. Detailed lithospheric structure is essential to explain craton destruction.

Charnockites with 2691–2607 Ma magmatic ages from the NMZ show arc‐magmatic geochemical signatures. They correspond to the lower‐crustal equivalent of the Chilimanzi Suite Granite in the Zimbabwe Craton. Lu‐Hf isotopic data of magmatic zircons show negative εHf(t) values (−11.18 to −2.20) with TDMC ages of 3699–3158 Ma, suggesting their protolith ...

Geochronology of sillimanite-cordierite gneiss Atamanovo series of the South Yenisei Ridge (Russia)
The paper provides justification of Paleo Archaean age (3221 ± 15 Ma) of the granulite plutonic metamorphism that formed the Kan metamorphic complex of the Archaean crust in the Angara-Kan block of the Siberian craton. The age was defined on the basis of

Magnetic Reversals During the Deccan Volcanism: Paleomagnetic Insights From the Pachmarhi Dykes
Abstract The three main dyke swarms that are linked to the Deccan Continental Flood Basalts are the Nasik‐Pune, Western Coastal, and Narmada‐Satpura‐Tapi (N‐S‐T) swarms. Encompassing approximately 244 mapped basaltic dykes, mainly trending E‐W and positioned along an ancient tectonic zone, the Pachmarhi dyke swarm is situated in the eastern N‐S‐T ...

The chemical makeup of Earth’s atmosphere during the Archean (4–2.5 Ga) and Proterozoic eon (2.5–0.5 Ga) contrast considerably with the present-day: the Archean was rich in carbon dioxide and methane, and the Proterozoic had potentially higher amounts of

Rethinking Seawater Mo Isotope Mass‐Balance and the Sedimentary Mo Record
Abstract A lingering misconception is that seawater 98Mo/95Mo ratios should have increased more or less linearly with the oxygenation of Earth's oceans. At the root of this hypothesis is the generalization that oxidizing marine sediments have a stronger affinity for lighter‐mass Mo isotopes than their reducing counterparts.
