Transformations in Diabetes Care: Lessons From Commons‐Based, Peer‐Produced Citizen Science
ABSTRACT Medical technologies have historically been the domain of private entities and public institutions. However, this market–state model is being challenged by commons‐based, peer‐produced citizen science. Here, we present a community of people with diabetes, which has developed life‐critical medical devices through open‐source innovation, as a ...

Abstract Amid increasing anthropogenic pressures on ecosystems, standardised biodiversity monitoring is critical for assessing biodiversity change. Marine hard‐bottom habitats, though ubiquitous and biodiverse, present challenges for biodiversity monitoring due to their complex structure and limited accessibility. Autonomous reef monitoring structures (

Abstract As our understanding of abiotic factors continues to grow, along with insights into the biological traits of organisms, so too does the sophistication of studies exploring global diversification and spatio‐temporal distribution patterns. The global distribution of coastal Cafius rove beetles, combined with the endemic distribution patterns ...

Abstract The tropical Indian Ocean (IO) exhibits persistent biases in sea surface temperature (SST) climatology across Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6) models, particularly during boreal winter. These biases manifest as a meridional dipole with warm SSTs in northern tropics and cool SSTs in south.
