Evaluation of the Antioxidant Status of Ethanolic Extract of Hypericum perforatum and Its Effect on Performance, Immune System, Antioxidant Status and Plasma Biochemical Indices of Broiler Chickens

Hypericum perforatum ethanolic extract (HPEE) at the levels of 0, 150, 300 and 450 mg/kg were used and dietary treatments did not affect growth performance including feed intake, body weight and feed conversion ratio. The HPPE reduced the abdominal fat and improved meat quality in broilers.

Sulfakinin Signaling Sense Circulating Fructose and Suppresses Food Consumption via Insulin‐Like Peptide in Bactrocera Dorsalis

This study discovered a new pathway that tells fruit flies when to stop eating. It found that rising blood sugar (fructose) is detected by a sensor called GR43a. This triggers a chain reaction involving the satiety signal sulfakinin and its receptor, ultimately activating a final satiety signal, ILP5.
