Neuroticism and Proxemic Behavior

Perceptual and Motor Skills, 1977

Multi-view proxemics

Proceedings of the 2nd ACM International Symposium on Pervasive Displays, 2013
We present work at a previously unexplored intersection of two research areas: proxemic interaction and multi-view display technologies. Multi-view proxemic systems concurrently deliver distinct views from a single display to different viewers depending on a combination of their angle to the display and their distance from it.

Proxemic-Aware Controls

Proceedings of the 17th International Conference on Human-Computer Interaction with Mobile Devices and Services, 2015
Remote controls facilitate interactions at-a-distance with appliances. However, the complexity, diversity, and increasing number of digital appliances in ubiquitous computing ecologies make it increasingly difficult to: (1) discover which appliances are controllable; (2) select a particular appliance from the large number available; (3) view ...

The proxemic web

Proceedings of the 2014 ACM International Joint Conference on Pervasive and Ubiquitous Computing: Adjunct Publication, 2014
Responsive web design has become one of the guiding principles for delivering a consistent viewing experience for the same World Wide Web content across devices of different sizes. However, this principle covers only half of the spectrum of a viewing experience, since it does not factor in proxemic interactions between a user and a single device.
