Proximal Hypospadias [PDF]

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2011
Hypospadias results from abnormal development of the penis that leaves the urethral meatus proximal to its normal glanular position. Meatal position may be located anywhere along the penile shaft, but more severe forms of hypospadias may have a urethral ...

Proximal-Proximal-Gradient Method

open access: yesJournal of Computational Mathematics, 2021
In this paper, we present the proximal-proximal-gradient method (PPG), a novel optimization method that is simple to implement and simple to parallelize. PPG generalizes the proximal-gradient method and ADMM and is applicable to minimization problems written as a sum of many differentiable and many non-differentiable convex functions.

Evaluation of tunica vaginalis free graft as a better alternative to tunica vaginalis pedicled flap for providing waterproof cover in Stage II hypospadias repair

open access: yesAfrican Journal of Paediatric Surgery, 2021
Background: Tunica vaginalis (TV) flap has been used by many surgeons as a waterproof layer to cover neourethra. We present our experience in using free TV graft as an alternative to TV flap for providing waterproof cover in second-stage hypospadias ...

Proximate possessors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
This chapter describes possessive constructions in Tundra Nenets (Uralic) with a particular focus on the behavioural and functional properties of lexical possessors. While pronominal possessors always trigger agreement on the possessed noun, lexical possessors only do so in specific circumstances.

Compositions and Averages of Two Resolvents: Relative Geometry of Fixed Points Sets and a Partial Answer to a Question by C. Byrne [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We show that the set of fixed points of the average of two resolvents can be found from the set of fixed points for compositions of two resolvents associated with scaled monotone operators.

Proximal Remote Sensing-Based Vegetation Indices for Monitoring Mango Tree Stem Sap Flux Density

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
Plant water use is an important function reflecting vegetation physiological status and affects plant growth, productivity, and crop/fruit quality. Although hyperspectral vegetation indices have recently been proposed to assess plant water use, limited ...
