Proximity-Induced Magnetic Order in a Transferred Topological Insulator Thin Film on a Magnetic Insulator [PDF]
Breaking the time reversal symmetry (TRS) in a topological insulator (TI) by introducing a magnetic order gives rise to exotic quantum phenomena. One of the promising routes to inducing a magnetic order in a TI is utilizing magnetic proximity effect ...

Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Proximity-Induced Superconductivity with Subgap Anomaly in Type II Weyl Semi-Metal WTe2 [PDF]
Due to the nontrivial topological band structure in type II Weyl semi-metal tungsten ditelluride (WTe2), unconventional properties may emerge in its superconducting phase.

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Industry Upgrading: Recommendations of New Products Based on World Trade Network
GDP is a classic indicator of the extent of national economic development. Research based on the World Trade Network has found that a country’s GDP depends largely on the products it exports.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Measuring the unmeasurable: the empirics of non-geographical proximity [PDF]
This paper summarizes the empirical literature on the impact of non-geographical proximity on economic interactions. I identify two main criteria for classifying this literature: (i.) The way different types of non-geographical proximity influence ...
