Engineering the bacterial nutrition strategy to control plant diseases
This commentary on Wang et al. (2025) and Phan et al. (2025) highlights previously undiscovered Xanthomonas pathways for nutrition acquisition, explains how Xanthomonas bacteria hijack host molecular machinery through their effector proteins, and discusses how these studies can be used to develop new disease resistance mechanisms.

Reproduktivno respiratorni sindrom svinja (PRRS)
Respiratory disease in pigs are major cause of morbidity, mortality, and major cause of economic losses. As results of this situation, it is necessary to carry out timely diagnoses, adequate therapy and on farms established prophylactic measures. Our intention was to show in this paper, production indicators, such as consequence presence of PRRS in pig

How the Threat of Knowledge Loss Drives Firms’ R&D Dynamism: A Threat Rigidity Perspective
Abstract Drawing on threat rigidity theory, this paper argues that the threat of knowledge loss gives rise to a threat rigidity effect in firms’ R&D function, that is, reduces their R&D dynamism. It further argues that the dampening of R&D dynamism is greater for firms more vulnerable to the threat of knowledge loss due to facing greater product market
