Effects of gamma radiation on microcuttings of plum (Prunus salicina Lindl.) «Shiro»
In vitro cultures of the Japanese plum ( Prunus salicina Lindl.) 'Shiro' were irradiated with different doses of gamma rays. Microcuttings were subjected to acute irradiation (530 Rad/min) for total doses of 0, 10, 20, 30 or 40 Gy. After gamma-ray irradiation, shoots were transferred to a proliferation medium.

Effects of different pollination treatments in genotypes of Prunus salicina Lindl.
The low productivity in the Japanese plum (Prunus salicina Lindl) is related with self-incompatibility characteristics, so other species or varieties that act as pollinators need to be present to improve fruit production. The objective of this work was to study the efficiency of pollination in different genotypes of P.
