Mapping the genomic landscape of Prunus spp. with PrunusMap. [PDF]

open access: yesHortic Res
Abstract Next-generation sequencing has fueled significant advancement in plant breeding tools, such as genome-wide association studies and single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) analysis. In this dynamic landscape, plant databases housing SNP markers have evolved into hubs facilitating breeding initiatives and genomic research ...

Prunus geminivirus A: A Novel Grablovirus Infecting Prunus spp. [PDF]

open access: yesPlant Disease, 2018
Increased use of metagenomics for routine virus diagnosis has led to the characterization of several genus level geminiviruses from tree fruit long thought to exclusively host RNA viruses. In this study, the identification and molecular characterization of a novel geminivirus is reported for the first time in Prunus spp. The virus, provisionally named

Molecular Variability Among Isolates of Prunus Necrotic Ringspot Virus from Different Prunus spp. [PDF]

open access: yesPhytopathology®, 1999
Viral sequences amplified by polymerase chain reaction from 25 isolates of Prunus necrotic ringspot virus (PNRSV), varying in the symptomatology they cause in six different Prunus spp., were analyzed for restriction fragment polymorphisms. Most of the isolates could be discriminated by using a combination of three different restriction enzymes.

Pest risk analysis for Bactrocera invadens : Guidelines on Pest Risk Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Stripping related moisture damage has been recognized as one of the major pavement distresses since the early 1990s. The main objective of this study is to establish an effective test protocol to quantify moisture susceptibility of asphalt pavements.

Ilarviruses ofPrunusspp.: A Continued Concern for Fruit Trees [PDF]

open access: yesPhytopathology®, 2012
Prunus spp. are affected by a large number of viruses, causing significant economic losses through either direct or indirect damage, which results in reduced yield and fruit quality. Among these viruses, members of the genus Ilarvirus (isometric labile ringspot viruses) occupy a significant position due to their distribution worldwide.
