Modeling and analysis for the coexistence of PSC I and PSC II in the IEEE 802.16e system

21st Annual IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications, 2010
In wireless communication system, power saving mechanism is a key issue since a mobile station operates depending on limited power. Hence, the IEEE 802.16e system provides three types of power saving classes (PSC I, PSC II and PSC III) for the mobile station (MS) to reduce power consumption.

Comparative Study of Indonesian PSC and Malaysian PSC: Challenges and Solution

SSRN Electronic Journal, 2010
Malaysia is one of the many countries that adopted Indonesian’s Product Sharing Contract (PSC) since its second formulation. However, both countries had developed their own version of PSCs according to each State’s interest within the last thirty decades. These recent years, Indonesian fiscal regime tends to be less investor-friendly than Malaysia.

PSC and colitis: A complex relationship

Hepatology
Primary sclerosing cholangitis is one of the most challenging conditions in hepatology, and due to our limited understanding of its pathogenesis, no causal therapies are currently available. While it was long assumed that a minority of people with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) also develop primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), which is sometimes ...

Solving the PSC Mystery

Science, 2001
Until the discovery of the ozone hole in the mid-1980s, polar stratospheric clouds (PSCs) were considered beautiful curiosities. In their Perspective, [Tolbert and Toon][1] describe the insights gained since then into how PSCs form and how they affect the destruction of stratospheric ozone.

Power scanning calorimetry (PSC)

Thermochimica Acta, 1984
The heat of reaction and the rate of heat production in a reaction mixture as a function of temperature are important quantities for the design of reactors in chemical industry. Presently, several methods for the determination of these quantities are available, such as Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Differential Thermal Analysis, Bench Scale ...

A communication-based method for PSC Detection and GMP tracking under PSC

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics
This study proposes a novel communication-based method for tracking global maximum power point (GMP) under partial shading condition (PSC) for a rooftop photovoltaic (PV) systems. The proposed method uses communication between converters to detect the occurrence of PSC and finds the GMP.

Spectroscopic Studies of PSCs

1994
Heterogeneous reactions on polar stratospheric clouds (PSCs) have been implicated recently in Arctic and Antarctic ozone loss. The most important heterogeneous process on PSCs is thought to be reaction (1) C1ONO2 + HC1 → C12 + HNO3 (1) This reaction converts reservoir chlorine (C1ONO2, HC1 into a photochemically active form (C12).
