On a pseudo-Volterra nonhomogeneous integral equation
In this paper the issues of the solvability of a pseudo-Volterra nonhomogeneous integral equation of the second kind are studied. The solution to the corresponding homogeneous equation and the classes of the uniqueness of the solution are found in [1 ...

A nonlinear Bismut-Elworthy formula for HJB equations with quadratic Hamiltonian in Banach spaces [PDF]
We consider a Backward Stochastic Differential Equation (BSDE for short) in a Markovian framework for the pair of processes $(Y,Z)$, with generator with quadratic growth with respect to $Z$.

Frames of solutions and discrete analysis of pseudo‐differential equations
We construct discrete analogs of multidimensional singular integral operators and study their invertibility. Moreover, we give a comparison between continual and discrete case. We give the theory of periodic Riemann problem also, because it is needed for studying invertibility of so‐called paired equations.

Absorbing boundary conditions for the Westervelt equation [PDF]
The focus of this work is on the construction of a family of nonlinear absorbing boundary conditions for the Westervelt equation in one and two space dimensions.

A conservative exponential integrators method for fractional conservative differential equations
The paper constructs a conservative Fourier pseudo-spectral scheme for some conservative fractional partial differential equations. The scheme is obtained by using the exponential time difference averaged vector field method to approximate the time ...

When is a pseudo-differential equation solvable ? [PDF]
This paper begins with a broad survey of the state of the art in matters of solvability for differential and pseudo-differential equations. Then we proceed with a Hilbertian lemma which we use to prove a new solvability result.

Darboux-Backlund Derivation of Rational Solutions of the Painleve IV Equation
Rational solutions of the Painleve IV equation are constructed in the setting of pseudo-differential Lax formalism describing AKNS hierarchy subject to the additional non-isospectral Virasoro symmetry constraint.

The Moyal bracket and the dispersionless limit of the KP hierarchy [PDF]
A new Lax equation is introduced for the KP hierarchy which avoids the use of pseudo-differential operators, as used in the Sato approach. This Lax equation is closer to that used in the study of the dispersionless KP hierarchy, and is obtained by ...
