Kinetic and Isotherm Studies for Nickel (II) Removal Using Novel Mesoparticle Graphene Sand Composite Synthesised From Sand and Arenga Palm Sugar [PDF]
Nickel (II) is one of the most toxic contaminants recognised as a carcinogenic and mutagenic agent which needs complete removal from wastewater before disposal. In the present study, a novel adsorbent called mesoparticle graphene sand composite (MGSCaps)

Removal of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic Acid by Calcined Zn–Al–Zr Layered Double Hydroxide [PDF]
The adsorption equilibrium, kinetics, and thermodynamics of removal of 2,4-dichlorophenoxy-acetic acid (2,4-D) from aqueous solutions by a calcined Zn–Al layered double hydroxide incorporated with Zr4+ were studied with respect to time, temperature, pH ...

We introduce a molecular strategy to assemble one‐dimensional (1D) materials into two‐dimensional (2D) van der Waals metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). Crystals of [FeX(pzX)(bpy)] (X = Cl, F) form anisotropic 2D layers that can be mechanically exfoliated into thin sheets.

Bottom‐Up Programming of Cell States in Cancer Organoids with Defined Synthetic Adhesion Cues
A bottom‐up biomaterial platform is developed to program transcriptomic states in pancreatic cancer organoids by tuning adhesion cues within synthetic matrices. By combining a Design of Experiments framework with multiobjective optimization, matrix compositions are identified that enrich specific cellular programs like EMT.

Pseudo-second-order kinetic equations for modeling adsorption systems for removal of lead ions using multi-walled carbon nanotube [PDF]
This study investigated the lead ion removal of the multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) and oxidized multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT-COOH). The main purpose of this work is to study the possibilities on the removal of Pb(II) ions from aqueous solutions using MWCNTs and MWCNT-COOH surfaces as adsorbents.
