This article explores how the integration of a thin shell, combined with optimized surface chemistry, enables the design of photodiodes based on short‐wave infrared HgTe nanocrystals. These photodiodes achieve an open‐circuit voltage greater than half the optical bandgap, which drastically reduces dark current. The article also explores the integration

A study of the applicability of nucleation theory to quasi-thermodynamic transitions of second and higher Ehrenfest-order [PDF]
The applicability of classical nucleation theory to second (and higher) order thermodynamic transitions in the Ehrenfest sense has been investigated and expressions have been derived upon which the qualitative and quantitative success of the basic ...

Decoding THz‐Driven Dynamic Fingerprints of Ferroelectric Nanotwin Networks
ABSTRACT Ultrafast polarization dynamics in ferroelectrics are of considerable interest for high‐speed tunable dielectrics and electro‐optics. Extended domain wall networks formed in ferroelectric twin nanodomains can support collective dynamics in the terahertz regime but require techniques that track polarization and strain evolution driven by ...

Composition Restoration Enables Recycling of Mixed‐Cation, Mixed‐Halide Perovskites for Solar Cells
Compositional drift during processing prevents the direct recycling of mixed‐cation, mixed‐halide perovskites. This work introduces a framework to quantitatively audit and restore recovered materials, enabling closed‐loop recycling with efficiencies comparable to virgin perovskites.

Rapid removal of phenol from aqueous solutions by AC_Fe3O4 nano-composite: Kinetics and equilibrium studies [PDF]
Background and purpose: Phenol and its derivatives are used as raw material in many chemical, pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries. It is classified as priority pollutant, due to its high toxicity. In this study, the magnetic activated carbon nano-

ABSTRACT This research focused on characterizing graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C3N4) nanocomposites incorporated with ZnO and Ag2O nanoparticles, and carrageenan to remove heavy metals. The ZnO/Ag2O@ g‐C3N4 and ZnO/Ag2O/g‐C3N4@Carr nanocomposites demonstrated thermal stability of 97.40% (108.81°C) and 82.80% (188.99°C) for TGA.

Biosorption of lead from simulated industrial wastewaters by aquatic bryophytes [PDF]
Aquatic bryophytes are frequently used as biomonitors for trace metals in aquatic ecosystems. Nevertheless, their special characteristics also allow using them as biosorbents to clean industrial wastewaters.
