Study on the impact of high power amplifier on pseudo random noise code ranging
2017 Sixth Asia-Pacific Conference on Antennas and Propagation (APCAP), 2017Pseudo random noise (PRN) code ranging technology is widely used in satellite navigation and aerospace measurement. In this paper, we analyzed the impact of high power amplifier (HPA) on PRN code ranging by combining the baseband ranging model with a HPA model simulated by advanced design system (ADS) software.

Study on Detonating Control Technique of Pseudo-Noise Code Phase Modulation Fuze
2009 2nd International Congress on Image and Signal Processing, 2009Using the basic idea of information theory, the probability density of detonating control of PN code phase modulation fuze is researched and the uncertainty factors that leads to burst-point distribution are analyzed. It is pointed out that extending Doppler allowance and suppressing distance sibelobe are the main methods that decrease the uncertainty ...

A Noise Suppression Method for Pipelines EMAT Signals Using a Pseudo Random Code
2010 2nd International Conference on Information Engineering and Computer Science, 2010The electromagnetic transducer (EMAT) guided wave technology is an effective method for the long-range, non-contact rapid inspection of pipe. Since the EMAT signals for pipelines inspection are very weak and have a lot of noise components, the disadvantages of the general amplifying and filtering methods for noise suppression are analyzed, and a noise ...

Pseudo-Noise Code Interferometry for Multibeam Lidar
OSA Imaging and Applied Optics Congress 2021 (3D, COSI, DH, ISA, pcAOP), 2021We present traveling-wave pseudo-noise coded interferometry to generate hundreds of uniquely intensity-modulated beams for multibeam lidar. Lidar backscatter is summed on a single detector and separated into individual beam range profiles with a single correlation.

Physical layer sensing using long pseudo noise codes
Proceedings of the Seventh ACM International Conference on Underwater Networks and Systems - WUWNet '12, 2012As research into building underwater sensor networks proceeds, researchers are focusing on using these networks to solve applicable problems. In particular we have found that underwater sensor networks are capable of performing acoustic tomography, even at very small scales.

Pseudo Noise Code Acquisition Using Fast Fourier Transform
2008 International Symposium on Computer Science and Computational Technology, 2008It is difficult to realize spread spectrum signal acquisition in time transfer system for a receiver operating in dynamic situation. For a receiver that realized by all-digital model, a new acquisition mode using fast Fourier transform algorithm is presented, which estimates the Doppler shift during the PN phase acquisition.

Signal-to-Noise Ratio and Bandwidth for Pseudo-Random Codes in an Ultrasonic Imaging System
Ultrasonic Imaging, 1984Signal-to-noise ratio and image resolution in an ultrasonic imaging system are compared for four kinds of excitation signals, namely, a single pulse, an unmodulated pseudo-random code, a modulated pseudorandom code and a deconvolved pseudo-random code, all for a given length and amplitude.

Generating multiplicative pseudo-noise codes to support multiple data rates
IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference, 2006. WCNC 2006., 2006In this paper, we propose a unique set of pseudo noise (PN) codes, such that a large PN code can be split into two smaller PN codes. This allows a radio, to use both the large and the small PN codes, depending upon the desired code length if the large PN code is loaded into the radio. We refer to these codes as multiplicative PN codes.
