Experiments on Pseudo Relevance Feedback Using Graph Random Walks
International audienceIn this article, we apply a graph-based approach for pseudo-relevance feedback. We model term co-occurrences in a fixed window or at the document level as a graph and apply a random walk algorithm to select expansion terms ...

Knowledge graph based entity selection framework for ad-hoc retrieval
Recent entity-based retrieval models utilizing knowledge bases have shown significant improvement in ad-hoc retrieval. However, a lack of coherence between candidate entities can lead to query intent drift at retrieval time.

Intelligent Sky Guardians (InSkyGuard) is introduced as a four‐drone swarm that autonomously detects, tracks, and safely captures rogue drones using a coordinated net system. Computer vision and leader–follower control architecture enable synchronized enclosure, while integrated failsafes enhance system reliability. Validated through closed‐environment

Anchored dense-chain pseudo-relevance feedback: sequential state refinement for neural retrieval
Pseudo-relevance feedback (PRF) has been shown to improve the effectiveness of bag-of-words retrieval models. However, the incorporation of PRF into dense neural retrieval remains challenging. Direct updates to query embeddings can induce semantic drift,

中文專利前案檢索模式之成效評估 Evaluation of Prior Art Search Mothods [PDF]

LLM-Assisted Pseudo-Relevance Feedback
Query expansion is a long-standing technique to mitigate vocabulary mismatch in ad hoc Information Retrieval. Pseudo-relevance feedback methods, such as RM3, estimate an expanded query model from the top-ranked documents, but remain vulnerable to topic drift when early results include noisy or tangential content.

Improvement of Trademark Retrieval Using Pseudo Relevance Feedback [PDF]
As the number of registered trademarks become larger, the demand for trademark retrieval systems with high accuracy has grown to reduce the burden of human searchers. In particular, precision at high recall is important to avoid erroneous registration of newly submitted trademarks.

This review maps the methods to monitor robots’ health by fusing vibration, sound, control signals, vision, force, and oil information with artificial intelligence. It identifies deep learning, transfer learning, digital twins, and physics‐informed models as key methodological pathways enabling earlier diagnosis, safer human–robot collaboration, and ...

A single‐cell atlas of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma development reveals progressive ductal‐fibroblast‐immune crosstalk. Tumor‐derived LAMB3 drives the formation of immunosuppressive LRRC15+ fibroblasts through the ITGB1/FAK/MAPK/FOSL2 signaling. Glycolytic reprogramming upregulates LAMB3 and correlates with LRRC15+ fibroblast enrichment.

ABSTRACT Mast cells (MCs), key innate immune sentinels at the host–environment interface, serve as primary responders to invading pathogens. However, their specific contribution to host defense against cutaneous Candida albicans (C. albicans) infection and their synergy with other immune and non‐immune cells remain poorly understood. Here, we show that
