Cette étude propose quelques éléments de base sur les cochenilles racinaires du caféier au Guatemala. On a procédé à un inventaire des diverses espèces de Pseudococcidae et des fourmis qui leur sont associées. Des observations de terrain ont permis de dégager quelques caractéristiques de ces deprédateurs dans leur milieu écologique.

Mealybugs (Hemiptera : Pseudococcidae) in Hawke's bay orchards

Abstract A survey of the mealybug species present in Hawke's Bay orchards was carried out from November 1963 to January 1965. Three species were found: Pseudococcus obscurus, P. adonidum, and Phenacoccus graminosus. P. graminosus is recorded from New Zealand for the first time.
