Effect of Nano Silicon and Plant Growth-Promoting Rhizobacteria on Biomass, Nodulation and Some Physiological Traits of Grasspea (Lathyrus sativus L.) [PDF]

open access: yesپژوهشهای زراعی ایران, 2022
IntroductionGrasspea (Lathyrus sativus L.) is one of the most important forage crops in the world. It contains 12 to 20% protein. Silicon (Si) existing in the Earth’s crust is classified as the most abundant element after oxygen.

Synergistic effect of copper oxide nanoparticles and chloramphenicol antibiotic on MexA gene expression of pump efflux system in drug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates [PDF]

open access: yesمجله پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تبریز, 2022
Background. Pseudomonas aeruginosa is a causative agent of nosocomial infections. Chloramphenicol is a broad-spectrum, inexpensive, and common antibiotic. MexAB-OprM is a secretory pump that causes the innate resistance of this bacterium.

The impact of biological inputs on drought stress resistance in Celtis caucasica L. seedlings [PDF]

open access: yesعلوم محیطی, 2021
Introduction: Unfavorable environmental conditions result in stress in plants and so disrupt their growth and survival. Today, soil microorganisms, especially fungi and growth-promoting bacteria, involved in various biological processes in plant growth ...

The Fatty Acids of Pseudomonas multivorans (Pseudomonas cepacia) and Pseudomonas kingii [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of General Microbiology, 1973
Summary: The fatty acid compositions of three strains of Pseudomonas multivorans and three of P. kingii were determined by gas-liquid chromatography. The major fatty acids identified were 16:0, 16:1, 18:1, 3-OH 14:0, 3-OH 16:0 and cyclopropane acids 17 Δ and 19 Δ.

Immunological nonidentity of Pseudomonas paucimobilis with Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Pseudomonas cepacia [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Microbiology, 1980
This investigation determined the serum agglutination activity and serum bactericidal response after rabbit immunization with Pseudomonas paucimobilis. Agglutination activity of antisera showed a twofold increase in titer from before immunization to 4 weeks post-immunization and peaked at 8 weeks post-immunization with a titer of 1:512.

Phenotypic and Genomic Comparison of the Two Most Common ExoU-Positive Pseudomonas aeruginosa Clones, PA14 and ST235

open access: yesmSystems, 2020
Genotyping of 2,882 Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates that had been collected during the last 40 years identified the ExoU-positive lineages PA14 (ST253) and ST235 as the second and third most frequent clones in the P. aeruginosa population.

Nanotubes Formation in P. aeruginosa

open access: yesCells, 2022
The present study discusses a biofilm-positive P. aeruginosa isolate that survives at pH levels ranging from 4.0 to 9.0. The biofilm consortia were colonized with different phenotypes i.e., planktonic, slow-growing and metabolically inactive small colony
