Expression of Marker RNAs in Pseudomonas putida
Current Microbiology, 2000A broad-host-range vector that expresses a unique artificial RNA in Pseudomonas putida has been developed. This vector was derived from the plasmid pBBR1MCS and incorporates regulatory regions from the Escherichia coli ribosomal operon, rrnB. These include the promoters P1 and P2, and the terminators T1 and T2.

Genomic sequencing of Pseudomonas putida unlocks its potential as a powerful biocontrol agent against Fusarium wilt. By revealing its complete genetic blueprint, we identify key genes responsible for producing antifungal antibiotics, siderophores (iron scavengers), and inducing plant systemic resistance (ISR). This knowledge allows precise selection or

Harnessing Pseudomonas putida in bioelectrochemical systems
Trends in BiotechnologyBioelectrochemical systems (BESs), a group of promising integrated systems that combine the advantages of biotechnology and electrochemical techniques, offer new opportunities to address environmental and energy challenges. Exoelectrogens capable of extracellular electron transfer (EET) are the critical factor enabling electrocatalytic activity in BESs.
