Vacuum pseudoscalar susceptibility [PDF]
We derive a novel model-independent result for the pion susceptibility in QCD via the isovector-pseudoscalar vacuum polarisation. In the neighbourhood of the chiral-limit, the pion susceptibility can be expressed as a sum of two independent terms. The first expresses the pion-pole contribution.

Exploring Dark Photon Production and Kinetic Mixing Constraints in Heavy‐Ion Collisions
ABSTRACT Vector U‐bosons, often referred to as “dark photons,” are potential candidates for mediating dark matter interactions. In this study, we outline a procedure to derive theoretical constraints on the upper bound of the kinetic mixing parameter ϵ2MU$$ {\upvarepsilon}^2\left({M}_U\right) $$ using dilepton data from heavy‐ion from SIS to RHIC ...

Global constraints on neutral-current generalized neutrino interactions
We study generalized neutrino interactions (GNI) for several neutrino processes, including neutrinos from electron-positron collisions, neutrino-electron scattering, and neutrino deep inelastic scattering.

Observation of pseudoscalar and tensor resonances in J / ψ → γ ϕ ϕ [PDF]
Based on a sample of (1310.6 +/- 10.5) x 10(6) J/psi events collected with the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII storage ring, a partial wave analysis of the decay J/psi -> gamma phi phi is performed in order to study the intermediate states ...

Nonlinear Vortex Dichroism in Chiral Molecules
Chiral molecules are shown to absorb two photons from a linearly polarized Laguerre–Gaussian vortex beams at different rates depending on the sign and magnitude of orbital angular momentum: nonlinear vortex dichroism. This new form of nonlinear optical activity is shown to have many remarkable properties, including novel access to structural ...

Cornering pseudoscalar-mediated dark matter with the LHC and cosmology [PDF]
A bstractModels in which dark matter particles communicate with the visible sector through a pseudoscalar mediator are well-motivated both from a theoretical and from a phenomenological standpoint.

Thermal quarkonium physics in the pseudoscalar channel [PDF]
The pseudoscalar correlator is an ideal lattice probe for thermal modifications to quarkonium spectra, given that it is not compromised by a contribution from a large transport peak.

QUARK STRUCTURE OF PSEUDOSCALAR MESONS [PDF]
I review to which extent the properties of pseudoscalar mesons can be understood in terms of the underlying quark (and eventually gluon) structure. Special emphasis is put on the progress in our understanding of η–η′ mixing. Process-independent mixing parameters are defined, and relations between different bases and conventions are studied.

Study of Semileptonic B⟶DPℓ+νℓ Decays Based on the SU(3) Flavor Symmetry
Decays B⟶DPℓ+νℓ(ℓ = e, μ, τ) with the nonresonance, the charmed vector resonances, the charmed scalar resonances, and the charmed tensor resonances are explored by using the SU(3) flavor symmetry approach. Firstly, the decay amplitudes of different modes are related by the SU(3) flavor symmetry.

Probing the Pseudoscalar portal to Dark Matter via $\bar{b} b Z( \rightarrow \ell\ell) + E_{T} \hspace{-8mm}/\hspace{4mm}$: From the LHC to the Galactic Centre Excess [PDF]
We propose a new search for Dark Matter at the LHC, characteristic of scenarios beyond the Standard Model with a pseudoscalar portal between the visible and dark sectors. This search, leading to a $\bar{b} b Z( \rightarrow \ell\ell) + E_{T} \hspace{-4mm}/
