The Isgur-Wise function: A lattice determination from pseudoscalar → pseudoscalar form factors [PDF]
Form factors for pseudoscalar --> pseudoscalar decays of heavy-light mesons are found in quenched lattice QCD with heavy-quark masses in the range of approximately 1-2 GeV. The Isgur-Wise function, $ξ(ω)$, is extracted from these form factors. Results are in good agreement with $ξ(ω)$ derived from CLEO measurements for B --> D*.

Quantum Geometric Engineering of Dual Hall Effects in 2D Antiferromagnetic Bilayers via Interlayer Magnetic Coupling. [PDF]
Precise tuning of interlayer magnetic coupling in two‐dimensional bilayers enables control over altermagnetic and PT‐symmetric antiferromagnetic phases. This dual‐phase platform yields two intrinsic Hall responses: a Berry curvature–driven linear anomalous Hall effect and a quantum metric–induced second‐order nonlinear anomalous Hall effect ...

Nonminimally coupled pseudoscalar inflaton [PDF]
We consider a scenario in which the inflaton $ϕ$ is a pseudoscalar field non-minimally coupled to gravity through a term of the form ${\cal X} R ϕ^2$. The pseudoscalar is also coupled to a $U(1)$ gauge field (or an ensemble of ${\cal N}$ gauge fields) through an axial coupling of the form $ϕF \tilde{F}$. After M. M. Anber and L. Sorbo, Phys. Rev. Magneto-optic effects of the cosmic microwave background
Generation of magneto-optic effects by the interaction of the CMB with cosmic magnetic fields is studied. Effects which generate polarization such as the Cotton–Mouton effect, vacuum polarization and photon–pseudoscalar mixing in external magnetic field ...

Vacuum pseudoscalar susceptibility [PDF]
We derive a novel model-independent result for the pion susceptibility in QCD via the isovector-pseudoscalar vacuum polarisation. In the neighbourhood of the chiral-limit, the pion susceptibility can be expressed as a sum of two independent terms. The first expresses the pion-pole contribution.

A search for a pair of low-mass pseudoscalars $a$ that promptly decay into $\tau$ -leptons is presented using 140 fb $ ^{-1}$ of proton–proton collision data at $13$ TeV centre-of-mass energy recorded with the ATLAS detector at the Large Hadron Collider.

Decay of charmonium states into a scalar and a pseudoscalar glueball
In the framework of a chiral symmetric model, we expand a U(4)R × U(4)L symmetric linear sigma model with (axial-)vector mesons by including a dilaton field, a scalar glueball, and the pseudoscalar glueball.

The a0(980) in the single Cabibbo-suppressed process Λc → π0ηp
In this work, we have investigated the Cabibbo-suppressed process Λc→π0ηp, by taking into account the intermediate scalar state a0(980), which could be dynamically generated from the S-wave pseudoscalar-pseudoscalar interaction within the chiral unitary ...
