Magnetic polarizabilities of light mesons in SU(3) lattice gauge theory [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2015
We investigate the ground state energies of neutral pseudoscalar and vector meson in SU(3) lattice gauge theory in the strong abelian magnetic field.

The light scalar mesons as tetraquarks [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
We present a numerical solution of the four-quark Bethe–Salpeter equation for ground-state scalar tetraquarks with JPC=0++. We find that the four-body equation dynamically generates pseudoscalar-meson poles in the Bethe–Salpeter amplitude.

Pseudoscalar Meson Electroproduction and Tranversity [PDF]

open access: yesExclusive Reactions at High Momentum Transfer IV, 2010
Exclusive meson leptoproduction from nucleons in the deeply virtual exchanged boson limit can be described by generalized parton distributions (GPDs).

New meson mass relation and lowest pseudoscalar glueball mass [PDF]

open access: greenChin.Phys. 10 (2001) 611-612, 2000
A new meson mass relation for meson nonet is given after considering mixing with glueball. The mixing between pseudoscalar mesons and pseudoscalar glueball will decrease the mass of glueball by about 500 Mev. So, according to the predicted mass of the pure pseudoscalar glueball given by lattice calculation and effective Hamiltonian, the expected mass ...

Pseudoscalar Mesons in Nuclear Medium [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Many-Body and Medium Effects in Nuclear Interactions and Reactions, 2003
The behavior of pseudoscalar mesons in nuclear medium is reviewed with an emphasis on the possibility of their Bose-Einstein condensation in dense matter. In particular pion condensation is reexamined in detail, stimulated by recent theoretical and observational developments.

Heavy Meson Masses in the ε-Regime of HMχPT [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The pseudoscalar and vector heavy meson masses are calculated in the \epsilon-regime of Heavy Meson Chiral Perturbation Theory to order \epsilon^4. The results of this calculation will allow the determination of low-energy coefficients (LECs) directly from Lattice QCD calculations of the heavy mesons masses for lattices that satisfy the \epsilon-regime

Model discrimination in pseudoscalar-meson photoproduction [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2016
To learn about a physical system of interest, experimental results must be able to discriminate among models. We introduce a geometrical measure to quantify the distance between models for pseudoscalar-meson photoproduction in amplitude space ...

On Scalar Meson Dominance in Semi- and Non-Leptonic Weak Pseudoscalar Meson Decays [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conf. Proc. 814 (2006) 690, 2005
Aspects of Scalar Meson Dominance in semi- and non-leptonic weak pseudoscalar meson decays are shortly discussed on the basis of the Quark-Level Linear Sigma Model.

Radially excited scalar, pseudoscalar, and vector meson nonets in a chiral quark model [PDF]

open access: greenPhys.Part.Nucl. 31 (2000) 282-311; Fiz.Elem.Chast.Atom.Yadra 31 (2000) 576-633, 1999
A chiral Lagrangian containing, besides the usual meson fields, their first radial excitations is constructed. The Lagrangian is derived by bosonization of a Nambu--Jona-Lasinio (NJL) type quark model with separable nonlocal interactions. The nonlocality is described by form factors corresponding to 3-dimensional excited state wave functions.

The role of meson exchanges in light-by-light scattering

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
We discuss the role of meson exchange mechanisms in γγ→γγ scattering. Several pseudoscalar (π0, η, η′(958), ηc(1S), ηc(2S)), scalar (f0(500), f0(980), a0(980), f0(1370), χc0(1P)) and tensor (f2(1270), a2(1320), f2′(1525), f2(1565), a2(1700)) mesons are ...
