Decay of the pseudoscalar glueball into scalar and pseudoscalar mesons [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2013
We study a chiral Lagrangian which describes the two- and three-body decays of a pseudoscalar glueball into scalar and pseudoscalar mesons. The various branching ratios are a parameter-free prediction of our approach. We compute the decay channels for a pseudoscalar glueball with a mass of 2.6 GeV, as predicted by Lattice QCD in the quenched ...

Phase shifts of the light pseudoscalar meson and heavy meson scattering in heavy meson chiral perturbation theory

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2023
We calculate the complete T matrices of the elastic light pseudoscalar meson and heavy meson scattering to the third order in heavy meson chiral perturbation theory. We determine the low-energy constants by fitting the phase shifts and scattering lengths

Pseudoscalar mass effects in the decays of τ with three pseudoscalar mesons [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1994
We study the effects of non-vanishing pseudoscalar masses in $τ$ decays into three mesons. The hadronic matrix elements are obtained by using the generalized structure of the chiral currents with nonvanishing pseudoscalar masses and implementing the low-lying resonances in the different channels.

The role of meson exchanges in light-by-light scattering

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
We discuss the role of meson exchange mechanisms in γγ→γγ scattering. Several pseudoscalar (π0, η, η′(958), ηc(1S), ηc(2S)), scalar (f0(500), f0(980), a0(980), f0(1370), χc0(1P)) and tensor (f2(1270), a2(1320), f2′(1525), f2(1565), a2(1700)) mesons are ...

Decay of the pseudoscalar glueball into vector, axial-vector, scalar and pseudoscalar mesons

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2023
We resume the investigation of the ground-state pseudoscalar glueball, $$J^{PC}=0^{-+}$$ J PC = 0 - + , by computing its two- and three-body decays into vector and axial-vector quark-antiquark meson fields additional to scalar and pseudoscalar mesons ...

Pseudoscalar meson and heavy vector meson scattering lengths [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2011
We have systematically studied the S-wave pseudoscalar meson and heavy vector meson scattering lengths to the third order with the chiral perturbation theory, which will be helpful to reveal their strong interaction. For comparison, we have presented the numerical results of the scattering lengths (1) in the framework of the heavy meson chiral ...

Spectra and decay rates of bb̄ meson using Gaussian wave function

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences, 2015
Using the Gaussian wave function mass spectra and decay rates of bb̄ meson are investigated in the framework of phenomenological quark anti-quark potential (coulomb plus power) model consisting of relativistic corrections to the kinetic energy term.

QUARK STRUCTURE OF PSEUDOSCALAR MESONS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics A, 2000
I review to which extent the properties of pseudoscalar mesons can be understood in terms of the underlying quark (and eventually gluon) structure. Special emphasis is put on the progress in our understanding of η–η′ mixing. Process-independent mixing parameters are defined, and relations between different bases and conventions are studied.
