The glueball content of ηc

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2022
We carry out the first lattice QCD derivation of the mixing energy and the mixing angle of the pseudoscalar charmonium and glueball on two gauge ensembles with Nf=2 degenerate dynamical charm quarks. The mixing energy is determined to be 49(6) MeV on the

Study of Semileptonic B⟶DPℓ+νℓ Decays Based on the SU(3) Flavor Symmetry

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
Decays B⟶DPℓ+νℓ(ℓ = e, μ, τ) with the nonresonance, the charmed vector resonances, the charmed scalar resonances, and the charmed tensor resonances are explored by using the SU(3) flavor symmetry approach. Firstly, the decay amplitudes of different modes are related by the SU(3) flavor symmetry.

Leptonic and semileptonic decays of pseudoscalar mesons [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1999
We employ the relativistic constituent quark model to give a unified description of the leptonic and semileptonic decays of pseudoscalar mesons (π, K, D, D_s, B, B_s). The calculated leptonic decay constants and form factors are found to be in good agreement with available experimental data and other approaches.

Relativistic corrections to the pair Bc-meson production in e+e− annihilation

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2016
Relativistic corrections to the pair Bc-meson production in e+e−-annihilation are calculated. We investigate a production of pair pseudoscalar, vector and pseudoscalar+vector Bc-mesons in the leading order perturbative quantum chromodynamics and ...

Tensor Condensate Accompanied by Chiral Transition in a Strong Magnetic Field

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, Volume 2025, Issue 1, 2025.
We investigate tensor condensates and chiral condensates in the (2 + 1)‐flavor Nambu–Jona–Lasinio model at finite temperature and density in the presence of a strong magnetic field. The emergence of the tensor condensate is attributed to the four‐fermion interaction.

Covariant Spectator Theory of heavy–light and heavy mesons and the predictive power of covariant interaction kernels

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
The Covariant Spectator Theory (CST) is used to calculate the mass spectrum and vertex functions of heavy–light and heavy mesons in Minkowski space. The covariant kernel contains Lorentz scalar, pseudoscalar, and vector contributions.

Millimeter‐Wave WISP Search with Coherent Light‐Shining‐Through‐a‐Wall Toward the STAX Project

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 536, Issue 1, January 2024.
This research article shows potential of millimeter waves for searching dark photons, one of the candidates of dark matter. By sharing a common reference signal, an excellent temporal coherency is achieved between production and detection of dark photons.

The annihilation of virtual photons into pseudoscalar mesons [PDF]

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal C, 2001
We investigate the possibility to constrain the pion distribution amplitude from the gamma* gamma* -> pi transition. For a surprisingly large range in the two photon virtualities we find that the transition form factor is essentially independent of the distribution amplitude. This in turn entails a parameter-free prediction of QCD. The gamma* gamma*

Exploring solutions to the muon g-2 anomaly in a 3-3-1 model under flavor constraints

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
The magnetic moment of the muon can receive significant two-loop contributions from a light pseudoscalar. Notably, the spectrum of scalars of 3-3-1 models includes one pseudoscalar.

Primer on Axion Physics

open access: yesAnnalen der Physik, Volume 536, Issue 1, January 2024.
A primer on axion physics, emphasizing an intuitive understanding of why the axion solves the strong CP problem. Abstract The canonical axion potential is reviewed, with an emphasis on the field theory underlying radial and angular modes of complex scalar fields.
