We study the scattering of the light-flavor pseudoscalar mesons ($$\pi , K, \eta $$ π,K,η ) off the ground-state charmed mesons ($$D,D_s$$ D,Ds ) within chiral effective field theory.

The meson masses and mixing angles have been calculated for the scalar and pseudoscalar sector in the framework of the generalized 2+1 flavor Polyakov loop augmented quark meson linear sigma model. We have given the results for two different forms of the

QUARK STRUCTURE OF PSEUDOSCALAR MESONS [PDF]
I review to which extent the properties of pseudoscalar mesons can be understood in terms of the underlying quark (and eventually gluon) structure. Special emphasis is put on the progress in our understanding of η–η′ mixing. Process-independent mixing parameters are defined, and relations between different bases and conventions are studied.

Incompleteness of complete pseudoscalar-meson photoproduction [PDF]
[Background] A complete set is a minimum set of observables which allows one to determine the underlying reaction amplitudes unambiguously. Pseudoscalar-meson photoproduction from the nucleon is characterized by four such amplitudes and complete sets involve single- and double-polarization observables.

Role of vector and pseudoscalar mesons in understanding $1/2^-$ $N^*$ and $\Delta$ resonances
A study of nonstrange meson-baryon systems has been made with the idea of understanding the properties of the low-lying $1/2^-$ $N^*$ and $\Delta$ resonances.

Relative phases in Dalitz plot amplitudes for $D^0 \to K_S \pi^+ \pi^-$ and $D^0 \to \pi^0 K^+ K^-$ [PDF]
Relative phases of amplitudes for $D$ meson decays to a light pseudoscalar meson $P$ and a light vector meson $V$ decaying to two pseudoscalar mesons will lead to characteristic interferences on the three-body Dalitz plot.

Pseudoscalar mesons and instantons [PDF]
Abstract We discuss the QCD sum rules for the correlators of pseudoscalar currents with quantum numbers of π, K, η, η′ mesons. In the framework of the instanton model of the QCD vacuum suggested earlier by the author, we calculate SU(3) breaking effects such as K, η masses and ηη′ mixing, as well as the U(1) breaking effect, the η′ mass.
