Tumor necrosis factor eliciting fractions separated from Pseudostellaria heterophylla

International Journal of Immunopharmacology, 1994
Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) could be induced in the serum of ICR mice bearing Ehrlich ascites tumor (EAT) cells by the i.v. administration of antitumor fractions (PH-I A, PH-I B, PH-I C, PH-I Ca, PH-I Cb) separated from the roots of Pseudostellaria heterophylla.

Quality evaluation and growing regionalization of Pseudostellaria heterophylla in Guizhou

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica, 2016
This paper is aimed to study the potential ecological suitability regionalization of Pseudostellaria heterophylla for selecting GAP planting base location and designing rational production layout. The ecological factors and contribution rate were determined by using maximum entropy (Maxent) model.

Mitogenic and tumor necrosis factor producing activities of Pseudostellaria heterophylla

International Journal of Immunopharmacology, 1992
Separation of mitogenic fraction (PH-I) from Pseudostellaria heterophylla and characterization of its biological activities were investigated. PH-I was isolated as an alcohol-insoluble fraction from the hot water extract obtained by heating the roots of P. heterophylla in water at 80 degrees C for 4 h.

[Common diseases and drug use of Pseudostellaria heterophylla].

Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 2023
Pseudostellaria heterophylla in large-scale cultivation needs to apply pesticides to control diseases, and non-standard use of pesticide may cause excessive pesticide residues in medicinal materials, increasing the risk of clinical medication. To accurately monitor the residual pesticides, this paper investigated the drug use during the process of P ...

The immunostimulating activities of anti-tumor Polysaccharides from Pseudostellaria heterophylla

Immunopharmacology, 1994
We have previously shown that a mitogenic fraction (PH-I) separated from Pseudostellaria heterophylla exhibits both immunomodulatory and anti-tumor activities. In the present study, PH-I was further purified by gel filtration chromatography and the resulting three fractions (PH-I A, PH-I B and PH-I C) were assessed for their anti-tumor activity in vivo.

Cyclopeptides and Amides from Pseudostellaria heterophylla (Caryophyllaceae)

Helvetica Chimica Acta, 2003
AbstractFrom the roots of Pseudostellaria heterophylla, three cyclopeptides and three amides were isolated, besides heterophyllin A and B. Their structures were determined as cyclo (Ala‐Gly‐Pro‐Val‐Tyr‐) (heterophyllin J; 1), cyclo (Ala‐Gly‐Pro‐Tyr‐Leu‐) (pseudostellarin A; 2), cyclo (Gly‐Gly‐Gly‐Pro‐Pro‐Phe‐Gly‐Ile‐) (pseudostellarin B; 3), methyl γ ...

Pseudostellarins D - F, new tyrosinase inhibitory cyclic peptides from Pseudostellaria heterophylla

Tetrahedron, 1994
Abstract New potent tyrosinase inhibitory cyclic peptides, pseudostellarins D - F, have been isolated from the roots of Pseudostellaria heterophylla and the structures were elucidated by extensive 2D NMR methods, chemical and enzymatic degradation and ESI tandem MS spectroscopic analysis.

Seed dormancy mechanisms of Pseudostellaria heterophylla and its germination characteristics

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica, 2012
Objective Seed dormancy mechanisms, breaking dormancy and the optimal germinating conditions were studied to improve reproductive efficiency and quality standard of Pseudostellaria heterophylla. Method The P. heterophylla seeds were stratified into wettish sand for 65 days under the temperature of -2-3 degrees C, embryo length and germination ...

Research on quality regionalization of cultivated Pseudostellaria heterophylla based on climate factors

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica, 2016
Maxent model was applied in the study to filtering the climate factors layer by layer. Polysaccharides and pseudostellarin B the two internal quality evaluation index were combined to analyse the interlinkages between climate factors and chemical constituents in order to search for the critical climate factors of Pseudostellaria heterophylla.

A new cyclic peptide from the fibrous root of Pseudostellaria heterophylla

Natural Product Research, 2020
A new cyclic peptide, Pseudostellarin K (1), together with thirteen known compounds, including two cyclic peptides (2 and 3), one β-carboline alkaloid (4), two amides (5 and 6), three phenylpropanoids (7-9) and other compounds (10-14), were isolated from the fibrous root of Pseudostellaria heterophylla.
