Yersinia pseudotuberculosis Infection Complicated with Bacteremia in a 10-Month-Old Boy

open access: yesCase Reports in Pediatrics, 2020
Yersinia pseudotuberculosis (Y. pseudotuberculosis) infection complicated with bacteremia rarely occurs. Y. pseudotuberculosis infection is also known to produce various symptoms similar to Kawasaki disease (KD) due to the production of Y ...

Pathology of Pseudotuberculosis in Mice Experimentally Infected with Yersinia pseudotuberculosis

open access: yesThe Japanese Journal of Veterinary Science, 1976

Septic shock due to Yersinia pseudotuberculosis infection in an adult immunocompetent patient: a case report and literature review

open access: yesBMC Infectious Diseases, 2021
Background Yersinia pseudotuberculosis infection can occur in an immunocompromised host. Although rare, bacteremia due to Y. pseudotuberculosis may also occur in immunocompetent hosts.

Yersinia pseudotuberculosis Typing Using Multi-Locus Variable-Number Tandem Repeat Analysis

open access: yesПроблемы особо опасных инфекций, 2015
Estimated has been efficacy of MLVA25 method, used for differentiation and clusterization of Yersinia pestis strains, in reference to Yersinia pseudotuberculosis strains, as well as the search of Y. pseudotuberculosis strains mostly closely related to Y.

System of Yersinia pseudotuberculosis MLVA14-Typing Based on Multiple-Locus Variable-Number Tandem Repeat Analysis

open access: yesПроблемы особо опасных инфекций
Yersinia pseudotuberculosis bacterium is the etiologic agent of pseudotuberculosis, a natural-focal disease reported in various regions of the world. Strains of pseudotuberculosis microbe are characterized by significant genetic diversity and differ in ...

EVALUATION OF CARDIAC ENZYMES AND SERUM LIPID PROFILE IN GOATS INFECTED WITH CORYNEBACTERIUM PSEUDOTUBERCULOSIS [PDF]

open access: yesAssiut Veterinary Medical Journal, 2018
The aim of the present study was to investigate the prognostic and diagnostic value of cardiac enzymes (creatine kinase-myocardial band (CK-MB), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and alanine aminotransferase (ALT)) along with a limited lipid profile ...

Monitoring wildlife health for diseases with visible signs by integrating camera traps with marked individuals

open access: yesConservation Biology, EarlyView.
Abstract Monitoring wildlife health is essential for conservation and management, wildlife and livestock welfare, and public health in a One Health framework. Yet, wildlife health monitoring often requires long‐term fieldwork and intensive sampling, which can be costly or logistically challenging, especially for remote, rare, or elusive populations. To

Cryo‐EM structures of multiple‐peptide resistance factor (MprF) from Pseudomonas aeruginosa

open access: yesThe FEBS Journal, EarlyView.
Cryo‐EM analysis of MprF from Pseudomonas aeruginosa reveals a dimeric enzyme, distinct from Rhizobium homologues. The soluble GNAT domain contains a dynamic amphipathic helix (TTH) that adopts different positions in detergent micelle and nanodisc, relative to the membrane.
