Psi-bounded solutions for linear differential systems with Lebesgue Psi-integrable functions on R as right-hand sides

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2009
In this paper we give a characterization for the existence of $Psi$-bounded solutions on $mathbb{R}$ for the system $x'=A(t)x + f(t)$, assuming that $f$ is a Lebesgue $Psi$-integrable function on $mathbb{R}$.

Prime Ideals and Three-generated Ideals with Large Regularity

open access: yesComptes Rendus. Mathématique
Ananyan and Hochster proved the existence of a function $\Phi (m,d)$ such that any graded ideal $I$ generated by $m$ forms of degree at most $d$ in a standard graded polynomial ring satisfies $\mathrm{reg}(I) \le \Phi (m,d)$. Relatedly, Caviglia et.

The zeros of Euler's Psi function and its derivatives

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Analysis and Applications, 2007
AbstractWe investigate the locations of the points of inflexion of Euler's Psi function, and the positions of the stationary points of its derivative. We also establish some trigonometric approximations to Psi which lead to improved estimates for the positions of its zeros.

Some properties of functions related to the gamma, psi and tetragamma functions

open access: yesComputers & Mathematics with Applications, 2011
AbstractIn this paper, some properties associated with the complete monotonicity and the logarithmically complete monotonicity of functions related to the gamma, psi and tetragamma functions are obtained. Relevant connections of the results presented here with those derived in earlier works are also pointed out.

State‐of‐the‐Art, Insights, and Perspectives for MOFs‐Nanocomposites and MOF‐Derived (Nano)Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Different approaches to MOF‐NP composite formation, such as ship‐in‐a‐bottle, bottle‐around‐the‐ship and in situ one‐step synthesis, are used. Owing to synergistic effects, the advantageous features of the components of the composites are beneficially combined, and their individual drawbacks are mitigated.
