This work proposes MDSC, an unsupervised low‐light enhancement framework integrating three core innovations: detail‐aware smoothing, multipath decomposition, and synergistic correction. It suppresses noise, handles rapid illumination variations, and prevents reflectance‐contrast amplification inherent to Retinex separation.

Abstract Background Adaptive radiation therapy (ART) relies on daily cone‐beam CT (CBCT), yet its limited image quality hinders accurate dose calculation, particularly under substantial anatomical changes. Purpose To overcome the clinical challenge of scarce paired planning CT (pCT) data versus abundant unpaired CBCTs, we propose a framework driven by ...

Vector‐Driven Projection and Backprojection
Abstract Background Projection and backprojection are fundamental operators in tomographic image reconstruction. Existing approaches—namely pixel‐driven (PD), ray‐driven (RD), and distance‐driven (DD)—are subject to well‐known trade‐offs among interpolation artifacts, geometric flexibility, and computational cost. Purpose This study aims to introduce a

Equivariant conditional diffusion model for head and neck CT image synthesis from CBCT
Abstract Background Cone‐beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a commonly used modality for image guided radiotherapy (IGRT). It offers real time anatomical visualization with low acquisition cost and dose. Nevertheless, photon scattering and beam hindrance lead CBCT images to suffer from several artifacts.

Abstract Background Electroacoustic tomography (EAT) is an emerging imaging technique with potential for guiding electroporation therapy. However, in clinical applications, EAT scan is typically limited to a single view acquisition, leading to severe artifacts in the reconstruction.
