The Mediator subunit SlMED25 and the co‐repressor SlSPX2 competitively bind the N‐terminal domain of the phosphate starvation response transcription factor SlPHR3 in tomato to form a sensitive molecular switch, which dynamically modulates phosphate starvation responses and maintains phosphate homeostasis, offering valuable targets for breeding low ...

Analogue optical pattern recognition for cross‐correlational CNN
Abstract Pattern recognition in convolutional neural networks (CNNs) is computationally intensive due to its reliance on 2D convolutions, requiring significant processing power and time. This paper proposes an analogue optical hardware system to improve CNN efficiency, focusing on forward propagation tasks such as data preparation, correlation, and ...

Advancing collagen‐related pathology assessment through second‐harmonic generation imaging
Abstract Collagen remodelling and dysregulation are the hallmarks of diverse pathological conditions. In this context, second‐harmonic generation (SHG) imaging has emerged as a powerful label‐free modality for assessing collagen. This offers submicron resolution, intrinsic optical sectioning, and deeper imaging capabilities without the need for ...

The Unexpected Discovery of Paleocene? Coals in Outcrops Thought to Be Cambrian, Al Huqf, Oman
ABSTRACT Two brown organic deposits were encountered whilst investigating kaolinitic claystones thought to occur at the base of a Cambrian formation at outcrop. The age of these organic deposits is probably Paleocene from palynology. Organic petrography shows that they are subbituminous coals with some oil source potential.

Annual Versus Patient‐Initiated Follow‐Up in Sleep Apnoea Care: A Quasi‐Experimental Study
ABSTRACT Obstructive sleep apnoea affects nearly 1 billion people worldwide, placing increasing pressure on healthcare systems. Continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) therapy is often the standard treatment, and efficient follow‐up strategies are needed to maintain adherence and optimise hospital resources. This study aimed to evaluate whether CPAP

Abstract Introduction The transition from student to doctor represents a challenging shift in identity and responsibility that many graduates find difficult to manage. To understand better how to support the transition to practice we need an exploration of graduates' experiences that does not see the transition as a single moment, but a continuous ...

Population genetic structure in the Pacific Northwest for (a–c) Nereocystis and (d–f) Macrocystis. Summary Pockets of the formerly glaciated Pacific coastline of North America likely remained ice‐free throughout the Last Glacial Maximum (LGM). These areas may have served as refugia for terrestrial species, but less is known about their role in the ...

ABSTRACT I give an argument for a version of the principle of sufficient reason from several plausible principles about negative facts and sufficient conditions. I then give an argument for a slightly weaker version of the principle without the reference to negative facts.
