Pairs of pulsars (PSR) and the origin of PSR

Astrophysics and Space Science, 1986
The results of research on pairs of PSR which were possibly components of disrupted binaries, seem to advance further arguments in favour of the idea, suggested by some authors, that most of PSR were formed in binary systems.

Decametric Pulse Radioemission from PSR 0809, PSR 1133, and PSR 1919

Nature Physical Science, 1973
RECEPTION of decametric radiation from pulsars is extremely hindered by deterioration of the signal-to-noise ratio in this band caused by a decrease in the pulsar's bandwidth and the high values of the background temperature. Nevertheless, the existing observational results at 38 MHz (ref. 1) and 40 MHz (ref.

Are PSR 0656+14, PSR 0950+08, and PSR 1822-09 gamma-ray pulsars?

Astrophysics and Space Science, 1993
The possible discovery of three new gamma-ray pulsars PSR 0656+14, PSR 0950+08, and PSR 1822-09 (Ma, Lu, Yu, and Young, 1993) in data obtained with the COS-B experiment is reinvestigated using a refined technique for pulsar light curve analysis. The results of this study do not confirm the previously claimed gamma-ray pulsar nature of any of these ...

Dynamics based control with PSRs [PDF]

open access: possibleInternational Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems, 2008
We present an extension of the Dynamics Based Control (DBC) paradigm to environment models based on Predictive State Representations (PSRs). We show an approximate greedy version of the DBC for PSR model, EMT-PSR, and demonstrate how this algorithm can be applied to solve several control problems.

PSRs in Adolescence

2023
Abstract Adolescence is a critical developmental moment for humans. Biologically and socially, the adolescents’ worlds are shifting drastically, and, as a result, their relationships to media figures must shift as well. This chapter examines the unique developmental role that media personalities play in adolescence. The chapter begins by

AGILE∕GRID observation of the pulsar PSR J0614+2229, PSR J1826−1334 and PSR J1856+0113

AIP Conference Proceedings, 2010
We present the analysis of PSR J0614+2229, PSR J1826‐1334 and PSR J1856+0113 fields observed with AGILE/GRID. A γ‐ray source compatible with the pulsar position is detected for PSR J1856+0113. Folding the arrival times with contemporary radio ephemeris no pulsed signal was detected from any of these sources.
