PSR: polymorphic SSR retrieval [PDF]
With the advent of high-throughput sequencing technologies large-scale identification of microsatellites became affordable and was especially directed to non-model species. By contrast, few efforts have been published toward the automatic identification of polymorphic microsatellites by exploiting sequence redundancy.

Wide-bandwidth Observations of PSR J0941–39 and PSR J1107–5907
Abstract We present a polarization analysis of PSR J0941–39 and PSR J1107–5907, which exhibit transitions between being pulsars and rotating radio transients (RRATs), using the ultrawide-bandwidth low-frequency receiver on Murriyang, the Parkes 64 m radio telescope.

Progress in the detection of viable but non-culturable microbes in rice and noodles
Rice and flour products are a type of major food in China, which is abundant in nutrients and humidity and thus is suitable for microbial growth. Spoilage microbes could shorten the shell life of food, and pathogenic microbes could cause food poisoning ...

Multi-wavelength observations of the radio magnetar PSR J1622-4950 and discovery of its possibly associated supernova remnant [PDF]
We present multi-wavelength observations of the radio magnetar PSR J1622-4950 and its environment. Observations of PSR J1622-4950 with Chandra (in 2007 and 2009) and XMM (in 2011) show that the X-ray flux of PSR J1622-4950 has decreased by a factor of ...

The geometry of PSR B0031-07 [PDF]
PSR B0031-07 is well known to exhibit three different modes of drifting sub-pulses (mode A, B and C). It has recently been shown that in a multifrequency observation, consisting of 2700 pulses, all driftmodes were visible at low frequencies, while at 4.85 GHz only mode-A drift or non-drifting emission was detected.
