The geometry of PSR B0031-07 [PDF]
PSR B0031-07 is well known to exhibit three different modes of drifting sub-pulses (mode A, B and C). It has recently been shown that in a multifrequency observation, consisting of 2700 pulses, all driftmodes were visible at low frequencies, while at 4.85 GHz only mode-A drift or non-drifting emission was detected.

The possible companions of young radio pulsars [PDF]
We discuss the formation of pulsars with massive companions in eccentric orbits. We demonstrate that the probability for a non-recycled radio pulsar to have a white dwarf as a companion is comparable to that of having an old neutron star as a companion ...

XMM-Newton spectral and timing analysis of the faint millisecond pulsars PSR J0751+1807 and PSR J1012+5307 [PDF]
We present XMM-Newton MOS imaging and PN timing data of the faint millisecond pulsars PSR J0751+1807 and PSR J1012+5307. We find 46 sources in the MOS field of view of PSR J0751+1807 searching down to an unabsorbed flux limit of 3 x 10^-15 ergs cm^-2 s ...

Constraining the optical emission from the double pulsar system J0737-3039 [PDF]
We present the first optical observations of the unique system J0737-3039 (composed of two pulsars, hereafter PSR-A and PSR-B). Ultra-deep optical observations, performed with the High Resolution Camera of the Advanced Camera for Surveys on board the ...

Variability of the Pulsed Radio Emission from the Large Magellanic Cloud Pulsar PSR J0529-6652 [PDF]
We have studied the variability of PSR J0529-6652, a radio pulsar in the LMC, using observations conducted at 1390 MHz with the Parkes 64-m telescope.

Drifting sub-pulses in two newly discovered pulsars [PDF]
We have detected the rare phenomenon of stable, drifting sub-pulse behaviour in two pulsars discovered in the recent Swinburne intermediate latitude pulsar survey.

Femur fractures are often treated by fixing metallic bone plates in the fractured area. But metallic bone plates are subjected to stress shielding. To overcome stress shielding, a material with similar strength and stiffness to that of the human bone can
