Circular RNA PTPN4 Contributes to Blood‐Brain Barrier Disruption during Early Epileptogenesis
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Epileptic condition induces CircPTPN4 upregulation, which promotes ECE‐1 expression through competitive sequestration of miR‐145a‐5p. The elevated ECE‐1 catalyzes the ET‐1 production, leading to p38/MAPK pathway activation and subsequent downregulation of tight junction protein expression. This cascade results in increased BBB permeability and enhanced Jiurong Yang, Yang Hu, Feiyu Wang, Xintao Peng, Honggang Qi, Yuanyuan Yao, Canyu Zhang, Lijie Zhou, Xuemei Liang, Kang Xu, Cong Zhang, Aifeng Zhang, Chen Chen, Yu Zeng, Chenchen Zhang, Guangming Gan, Xinjian Zhu +16 morewiley +1 more sourceThe Lancet Psychiatry Commission: a blueprint for protecting physical health in people with mental illness.

Advanced Science, EarlyView. The study proposes graph convolution network with sparse pooling to learn the hierarchical features of brain graph for MDD classification. Experiment is done on multi‐site fMRI samples (3335 subjects, the largest functional dataset of MDD to date) and transfer learning is applied, achieving an average accuracy of 70.14%.Jianpo Su, Jian Qin, Hui Shen, Ling‐Li Zeng, Baojuan Li, Jin Liu, Xuemei Song, Li Liu, Weidan Pu, Tongjian Bai, Huaning Wang, Hong Yin, Kai Wang, Lingjiang Li, Dewen Hu +14 morewiley +1 more sourceAltered Serum IgG Levels to a-Synuclein in Dementia with Lewy Bodies and Alzheimer’s Disease. Advanced Science, EarlyView.Morphine activates the excitatory cingulate cortex–intermediate rostrocaudal division of zona incerta (Cg‐ZIm) pathway to drive hyperlocomotion in mice. Inhibiting the Cg‐ZIm pathway attenuates both acute and chronic morphine‐induced hyperlocomotion, while its activation mimics morphine's motor effects.Chun‐Yue Li, Huiqian Huang, Xiao‐Fan Shen, Ke‐Lei Cao, Di Zheng, Yi Zhu, Shi‐Ze Xie, Xiao‐Dan Yu, Hao Wang, Jia‐Dong Chen, Jie Shi, Yue Li, Min Yan, Xiao‐Ming Li +13 morewiley +1 more source
