New method for the study of psychotropic drug effects under simulated clinical conditions [PDF]
The sensory contact model allows forming different psychopathological states (anxious depression, catalepsy, social withdrawal, pathological aggression, hypersensitivity, cognition disturbances, anhedonia, alcoholism etc.) produced by repeated agonistic interactions in male mice and investigating the therapeutic and preventive properties of any drug as

Graph Distance Neural Networks for Predicting Multiple Drug Interactions [PDF]
Since multidrug combination is widely applied, the accurate prediction of drug-drug interaction (DDI) is becoming more and more critical. In our method, we use graph to represent drug-drug interaction: nodes represent drug; edges represent drug-drug interactions.

Drug-target affinity prediction method based on consistent expression of heterogeneous data [PDF]
The first step in drug discovery is finding drug molecule moieties with medicinal activity against specific targets. Therefore, it is crucial to investigate the interaction between drug-target proteins and small chemical molecules. However, traditional experimental methods for discovering potential small drug molecules are labor-intensive and time ...

In Vitro Psilocybin Synthesis by Co‐Immobilized Enzymes
The drug candidate and psychedelic mushroom product psilocybin was produced by multienzyme‐charged beads in a biocatalytic cell‐free approach. Using immobilized fungal indolethylamine biosynthetic and additional bacterial enzymes, these beads turned over 4‐hydroxy‐l‐tryptophan to psilocybin.

Three studies comparing quetiapine with lithium were identified and analyzed; no other antipsychotic‐mood stabilizer combinations were found. Although this study found no differences in the efficacy and safety of quetiapine and lithium for bipolar depression, a comprehensive comparison of antipsychotics and mood stabilizers was not performed.

A Drug Utilization Study of Psychotropic Drugs Prescribed in the Psychiatry Outpatient Department of a Tertiary Care Hospital [PDF]
Background: Psychiatric disorders are one of the major causes of morbidity. Development of newer drugs like SSRIs and atypical antipsychotics has altered the treatment paradigms. Various factors like cost of drugs, local paradigms, etc. play a role in
