Abstract Ensemble particle tracking velocimetry (EPTV) is a method to extract high-resolution statistical information on flow fields from particle image velocimetry (PIV) images. The process is based on tracking particles and extracting the velocity probability distribution functions of the image ensemble in averaging-regions deemed ...

Urine Parameters in Patients with COVID-19 Infection
A urine test permits the measure of several urinary markers. This is a non-invasive method for early monitoring of potential kidney damage. In COVID-19 patients, alterations of urinary markers were observed.

3D-PTV Measuring onBubble and Liquid Velocities of a Single Bubble Jet
This experimental research concerns a simple air-bubblejet from a bottom nozzle in water. We try to conduct the measurements of the flow by applying a three-dimensional particle tracking velocimetry (3D-PTV) technique, in order to specify both bubble ...

A study on particle identification in PTV
Some algorithms for particle identification in PTV, which are classified in a category “particle mask correlation method”, are presented and tested. Atypical brightness pattern of a particle image is refered as a particle mask; it isplaced on an image plane and correlation coeficient between the particle mask and the image is calculated; the particle ...

3D-PTV measurement verified by UVP for unsteady and three-dimensional flow inside a suction sump
Our aim is to understand the complicated flow inside a suction sump in the vertical-wet-pit-pump configuration. The information of unsteady and three-dimensional flow structures is useful, not only for this complicated flow but also for other complicated

Hyperandrogenism during menopause is often underestimated by clinicians and attributed to the natural aging process. Hyperandrogenism can be associated with some metabolic abnormalities linked together in a vicious circle by insulin resistance.

Development of an infrared PTV
The Infrared PTV (Particle Tracking Velocimetry) is proposed for applications to measurements of surface velocity fields of local water bodies, such as rivers, lakes, ponds, estuaries and coastal areas. The tracers are either ice particles or soaked and frozen flat edible cakes. The cameras are infrared sensitive.

Basic Space Structure of Bubble-Jet Plume Using Consecutive 3D-PTV
This experimental research concerns the air-bubble-jet flow in water. We try to apply three-dimensional particle tracking velocimetry to the flow. Air bubbles are regarded as tracer particles.
