Equivalences and optimal designs of PTV systems

Some equivalences or transformations between a number of periodically time-varying (PTV) digital filters are developed. The transformation between the commutator and modulator analysis structures is presented. The transformation allows the problem specification and design in either or both domains.

Picosecond strain waves in PTV

Abstract We studied the propagation of thermo-optically excited transient strain waves in thin films of PTV by means of the ps time-resolved pump-probe technique. We find that ultrasound at high frequencies (above 10GHz) does not properly propagate through the polymer film.

3D-PTV measurements of the wake of a sphere
