Ten implementations of ptychography [PDF]
SummaryPtychography is an increasingly popular phase retrieval imaging technique, able to routinely deliver quantitative phase images with extended field of view at diffraction limited resolution. Different variants of this technique, like Bragg ptychography and Fourier ptychography, have also been developed and applied to various fields.

AbstractWe report an experimental ptychography measurement performed in fly-scan mode. With a visible-light laser source, we demonstrate a 5-fold reduction of data acquisition time. By including multiple mutually incoherent modes into the incident illumination, high quality images were successfully reconstructed from blurry diffraction patterns.

Ptychography at the carbon K-edge
Ptychography is an imaging technique based on algorithmic reconstruction of diffraction patterns that improves the spatial resolution of scanning transmission X-ray microscopy. Here, the possibility of ptychography at the carbon K-edge is demonstrated on

Ptychography is a computational imaging technique. A detector records an extensive data set consisting of many inference patterns obtained as an object is displaced to various positions relative to an illumination field. A computer algorithm of some type is then used to invert these data into an image.

We present an imaging technique combining Zernike phase-contrast imaging and ptychography. The contrast formation is explained by following the theory of Zernike phase-contrast imaging. The method is demonstrated with x-rays at a photon energy of 6.2 keV, showing how ptychographic reconstruction of a phase sample leads to a Zernike phase-contrast image

The hard X-ray ptychography endstation at the Taiwan Photon Source. [PDF]
The newly commissioned hard X‐ray ptychography endstation at the Taiwan Photon Source, TPS 25A2, is introduced, detailing the instrumental specifications and demonstrating a benchmark spatial resolution of 6.9 nm in 2D, showcased through the imaging of a standard test pattern, inorganic nanoparticles and a complex biological structure.Following our ...

Enhancing Dose Efficiency of Optimum Bright-Field Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy Using a Phase-Shifted Electron Probe. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Observing beam‐sensitive materials using scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) at low electron dose conditions is challenging due to the low signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR) of images. In this study, we aimed to improve the SNR of optimum bright‐field (OBF) STEM by introducing phase shifts to the incident electron probe using lens ...

Single-pixel ptychography [PDF]
Ptychography is a predominant non-interferometric technique to image large complex fields but with quite a narrow working spectrum, because diffraction measurements require dense array detection with an ultra-high dynamic range. Here we report a single-pixel ptychography technique that realizes non-interferometric and non-scanning complex-field imaging
