Single-pixel ptychography [PDF]
Ptychography is a predominant non-interferometric technique to image large complex fields but with quite a narrow working spectrum, because diffraction measurements require dense array detection with an ultra-high dynamic range. Here we report a single-pixel ptychography technique that realizes non-interferometric and non-scanning complex-field imaging

Acousto-optic imaging (AOI) enables optical-contrast imaging deep inside scattering samples via localized ultrasound-modulation of scattered light. While AOI allows optical investigations at depths, its imaging resolution is inherently limited by the ultrasound wavelength, prohibiting microscopic investigations. Here, we propose a computational imaging

Direct observation of Cu in Cu-chabazite (CHA) zeolite has been achieved by electron ptychography using the Wigner distribution deconvolution. The imaging properties of ptychographically reconstructed images were evaluated by comparing the intensities of

AbstractWe report an experimental ptychography measurement performed in fly-scan mode. With a visible-light laser source, we demonstrate a 5-fold reduction of data acquisition time. By including multiple mutually incoherent modes into the incident illumination, high quality images were successfully reconstructed from blurry diffraction patterns.

Enhancing Dose Efficiency of Optimum Bright-Field Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy Using a Phase-Shifted Electron Probe. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Observing beam‐sensitive materials using scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) at low electron dose conditions is challenging due to the low signal‐to‐noise ratio (SNR) of images. In this study, we aimed to improve the SNR of optimum bright‐field (OBF) STEM by introducing phase shifts to the incident electron probe using lens ...

Reflective Fourier ptychography [PDF]
The Fourier ptychography technique in reflection mode has great potential applications in tissue imaging and optical inspection, but the current configuration either has a limitation on cut-off frequency or is not practical. By placing the imaging aperture stop outside the illumination path, the illumination numerical aperture (NA) can be greater than ...
