A Parameter Refinement Method for Ptychography Based on Deep Learning Concepts
X-ray ptychography is an advanced computational microscopy technique, which is delivering exceptionally detailed quantitative imaging of biological and nanotechnology specimens, which can be used for high-precision X-ray measurements.

Elementary signals in ptychography
Ptychographic imaging has gained popularity for its high resolving power and sensitivity as well as for its ability to map simultaneously the sample's complex-valued refractive index and the illumination. Yet, despite significant progress that allows for reliable practical implementation, some of the technique's fundamentals remain poorly understood ...

Near Field Electron Ptychography [PDF]
Phase imaging in the Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM) has a long history, from the implementation of off-axis holography in TEM to Differential Phase Contrast (DPC) on the Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy (STEM).

Differential phase contrast for quantitative imaging and spectro-microscopy at a nanoprobe beamline
The interaction of a focused X-ray beam with a sample in a scanning probe experiment can provide a variety of information about the interaction volume. In many scanning probe experiments X-ray fluorescence (XRF) is supplemented with measurements of the ...

Improved resolution Fourier ptychography scheme using oil‐filled dome‐shaped LED array
Utilising angular‐varied illumination in Fourier Ptychography, the resolution of optical microscopes can be increased and the phase of the sample can also be recovered while maintaining a wide field‐of‐view.

Continuous scanning mode for ptychography [PDF]
We outline how ptychographic imaging can be performed without the need for discrete scan positions. Through an idealized experiment, we demonstrate how a discrete-position scan regime can be replaced with a continuously scanned one with suitable modification of the reconstruction scheme based on coherent modes.

Lorentz near-field electron ptychography [PDF]
Over the past few years, electron ptychography has drawn considerable attention for its ability to recover high contrast and ultra-high resolution images without the need for high quality electron optics. In this Letter, we focus on electron ptychography'

Karyotyping human chromosomes by optical and X-ray ptychography methods
Sorting and identifying chromosomes, a process known as karyotyping, is widely used to detect changes in chromosome shapes and gene positions. In a karyotype the chromosomes are identified by their size and therefore this process can be performed by ...
