High-Resolution Broadband Ptychography with an EUV Continuum
Ptychography implemented with coherent high-harmonic (HHG) sources enables high-resolution, high-fidelity imaging of nanostructures and biosystems. However, when driven by mid-infrared lasers to generate light at higher photon energies, HHG inherently ...

Micrometer‐sized flower‐shaped metamaterial magnetic flux concentrators are fabricated directly around nano and micromagnetic samples, enabling local field enhancement. Integrated into magnetic sensitive photoemission electron microscopy, they extend the available magnetic field range by up to a factor of five.

Uncertainty-aware Fourier ptychography
Abstract Fourier ptychography (FP) offers both wide field-of-view and high-resolution holographic imaging, making it valuable for applications ranging from microscopy and X-ray imaging to remote sensing. However, its practical implementation remains challenging due to the requirement for precise numerical forward models that ...

Convergent‐beam X‐ray crystallography
Molecular crystal diffraction with a highly focused X‐ray beam decouples crystal morphology and molecular structure by measuring magnified topographs from every reflection.Molecular and polymeric crystals show a wide range of functional properties that arise from the interplay between the atomic‐scale structure of their constituent molecules and the ...

Ptychography of pure quantum states [PDF]
AbstractPtychography is an imaging technique in which a localized illumination scans overlapping regions of an object and generates a set of diffraction intensities used to computationally reconstruct its complex-valued transmission function. We propose a quantum analogue of this technique designed to reconstruct d-dimensional pure states.

Liquid‐phase transmission electron microscopy enables direct observation of nucleation and growth processes in solution. This review is dedicated to the remembrance of Helmut Cölfen and highlights recent studies on complex materials—oxides, biominerals, organic–inorganic crystals—which were central to his research activity. It summarizes key milestones,
