The Effects of Public Spending Composition on Firm Productivity [PDF]
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2013 This paper exploits the unique institutional features of South Africa to estimate the impact of provincial public spending on firm productivity. In contrast to existing microeconomic evidence, we explore the effects of fiscal expenditures and remove the effects of revenue raising policies.

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes
FEBS Letters, EarlyView.GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.
