Post-Pandemic Urbanism from the Perspective of Healthy Cities: Evaluation of Urban Green Space Sufficiency in Denizli

open access: yesJournal of Architectural Sciences and Applications, 2022
The COVID-19 pandemic has re-bought forward the importance of urban open spaces. The scarcities of public spaces and open green spaces have been effective in keeping the city dwellers in their homes due to the need for isolation during the pandemic era ...

Implementation of Land Procurement for Public Green Open Space Development in Yogyakarta City, Indonesia

open access: yesInternational Journal of Social Science Research and Review, 2021
The provision of land to build green open spaces in urban areas as in the city of Yogyakarta is important considering that the increasing activities of urban communities will cause various environmental problems, such as an increase in vehicle smoke pollution, a decrease in the quality and quantity of groundwater, flooding, and so on.

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

Engineering peptides into antibodies—opportunities and strategies for therapeutic innovation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Peptides and antibodies occupy complementary therapeutic niches. Peptides recognize difficult targets in a compact format, while antibodies add specificity, long half‐life, and effector functions. This review examines strategies that merge both modalities—peptide grafting into loops, terminal and Fc fusions, and bioconjugation—highlighting how ...

The Effectiveness of Public Green Open Space Capabilities in Reducing Flooding

open access: yesIndonesian Journal of Applied Research (IJAR)
The Palopo City watershed could not accommodate the high discharge of rainfall that had fallen previously. The Green Open Space (GOS) had an ecological function by absorbing rainwater. Urban green open spaces absorbed surface flow water in the past, reducing the risk of flooding. In the past, this research measured the effectiveness of three green open

The availability of open green space and tree architecture at public senior high schools

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2020
Abstract Schools in Banda Aceh city are often traversed by traffic passing vehicles that exhaust emissions such as Pb, CO, NOx, SOx and CO2. The presence of open green space (OGS) is beneficial in cleaning air pollution. Thus, it is necessary to identify the tree architecture model to ensure suitable types of plants in the school’s green

Golgi enzymes are retrieved from the plasma membrane to the trans‐Golgi network

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Golgi enzymes are traditionally considered resident proteins retained within the Golgi apparatus. Here, we demonstrate that a subset transiently reaches the cell surface and is subsequently retrieved to the trans‐Golgi network via retrograde transport. Using a nanobody‐based toolkit, we uncover a dynamic trafficking cycle of several Golgi enzymes.
