The Public Library: A Key to Technology Transfer
Science & Technology Libraries, 1991Using the Science and Technology Department of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh as a case example, this paper discusses three key ideas: Patron needs arising within the technology transfer process; Information resources that facilitate that process; and Services provided to bring patrons into contact with the information they need.
