Pulmonary Edema Following Pulmonary Valvulotomy
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 1975A previously unreported combination of critical pulmonary valve stenosis and mitral stenosis is described. The initial clinical presentation was one of right ventricular failure that obscured the evidence of pulmonary venous hypertension. Following pulmonary valvulotomy, pulmonary edema ensued because of the increased pulmonary blood flow.

Chest, 1977Two cases of pulmonary arteriovenous fistulas associated with pulmonary hypertension occurring in young multiparous women are described. Both cases suggest the development of pulmonary arteriovenous fistulas subsequent to and as a consequence of the onset of pulmonary hypertension.
