Non‐Invasive Multidimensional Capacitive Sensing for In Vivo Traumatic Brain Injury Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, Volume 11, Issue 9, 6 May 2026.
Single‐electrode, multidimensional capacitive sensors noninvasively assess cerebral autoregulation and compliance for traumatic brain injury monitoring. ABSTRACT Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a major cause of death and disability, but invasive intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring is risky, and current non‐invasive methods lack the resolution and ...

Decoding the Cardiac Immune Microenvironment and Fibroblast Crosstalk in Radiotherapy Combined with Immunotherapy‐Induced Cardiac Fibrosis Based on Single‐Cell Transcriptomic Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 25, 4 May 2026.
This study highlights that radioimmunotherapy drives crosstalk between fibroblasts and immune cells (especially macrophages) in the cardiac microenvironment, with IL‐6 as the key mediator, and tocilizumab alleviates cardiac fibrosis by targeting this interplay.

Observation on the Efficacy of Hyperbaric Oxygen as Adjuvant Therapy for Breast Cancer‐Related Wounds: A Case Report

open access: yesCancer Reports, Volume 9, Issue 5, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Background Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) is widely used as a therapeutic intervention for various types of wounds. Studies have shown that in addition to improving local oxygen supply to the wound site, HBOT can also influence cytokine activity, promote the survival of tissue mesh, and thereby facilitate wound healing.

Immortalization of Human Adult Alveolar Epithelial Cells to Study Environmental Exposures of the Distal Lung

open access: yesCurrent Protocols, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2026.
Abstract Alveolar epithelial cell type 1 (AT1) and type 2 (AT2) cells make up the saccular gas exchange units of the lung, called alveoli. Formation of alveoli during lung development accounts for the expansive surface area of the lung, allowing for proper respiration and delivery of oxygen to the body.
