Mechanical memory in aging operates through four temporal tiers, from cytoskeletal remodeling to metabolic reprogramming. Aging disrupts this cascade through three distinct decoupling patterns: sensor degradation, conduction blockade, and execution failure, leading to irreversible pathological entrenchment across multiple organ systems.
