Pulp Revascularization of Immature Dens Invaginatus with Periapical Periodontitis

Journal of Endodontics, 2013
Dens invaginatus is a rare developmental malformation of a tooth caused by the invagination of the tooth crown before biological mineralization occurs. The complex anatomy of these teeth makes nonsurgical endodontic treatment difficult and more so when there is presence of periapical periodontitis with open apex.

Traumatized Immature Teeth Treated with 2 Protocols of Pulp Revascularization

Journal of Endodontics, 2014
Pulp revascularization may be considered a promising alternative for traumatized necrotic immature teeth. The aim of this study was to evaluate traumatized immature teeth treated with 2 protocols of pulp revascularization.Twenty-three teeth of young patients (7-17 years old) with necrotic upper incisors caused by dental trauma were divided into 2 ...

Pulp Revascularization of Immature Teeth With Apical Periodontitis: A Clinical Study

Journal of Endodontics, 2009
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of a pulpal revascularization procedure for immature necrotic teeth with apical periodontitis.Twelve patients, each with an immature permanent tooth with chronic or acute apical periodontitis, were recruited. A triantibiotic mix (ciprofloxacin, metronidazole, and minocycline) was used to disinfect the

Rate and predictability of pulp revascularization in therapeutically reimplanted permanent incisors

Dental Traumatology, 1986
Abstract The aim of the present investigation was to study the frequency of pulp revascularization in therapeutically reimplanted incisors as well; is its relationship with the following factors: width of apical foramen, duration of extra‐alveolar lime, storage conditions and postoperative administration of antibiotics.

Improving pulp revascularization outcomes with buccal fat autotransplantation

Journal of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, 2020
Several techniques have been introduced to improve the pulp revascularization outcomes. The use of the tissue graft can create more practical tissue regeneration, provide vascular supply, and enhance tissue healing. The aim of the present study was to investigate the histologic and molecular outcomes of pulp revascularization with buccal fat ...

Pulp Revascularization and Regeneration: Differences, Utilization, and Outcome

Journal of Healthcare Sciences, 2022
Microbial, mechanical, physical, and chemical factors are strong enough to endanger tooth pulp, resulting in alterations and inflammation of its vasculature, and causing intolerable pain. Clinical and technical management of diseases of these tissues is oftentimes very difficult due to the vastly varied anatomical nature of the pulpal space. Root canal

Pulp revascularization for the management of avulsed incisors with immature roots and pulp necrosis

Stomatologiya, 2018
The aim of the study was to assess the efficacy of pulp revascularization (PR) in children with pulp necrosis in immature roots incisors with the history of avulsion. The study group comprised 11 children (4 girls and 7 boys aged 86-133 months) with 13 traumatized incisors with pulp necrosis. Mean age at the time of injury was 98.0 months.
