Disengaging the Engine: Histone Deacetylases 1 and 2‐Mediated Acetylation of Hexokinase‐2 Regulates Energy Metabolism in Microglia Following Intracerebral Hemorrhage

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 14, 9 March 2026.
This study demonstrates that HDAC1/2 knockout in microglia alleviates neurological deficits, preserves white matter, and accelerates hematoma clearance after ICH. HDAC1/2 inhibition reduces HK2 acetylation, shifts metabolism from glycolysis to fatty acid oxidation, reduces inflammation, and enhances phagocytosis.

Multifunctional Carbon‐Nanotube Supported Catalyst for Efficient Glycerol Hydrogenolysis to 1,2‐propanediol

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 5, 13 March 2026.
ABSTRACT Multiwall carbon nanotube (NC7000) supported mono‐, bi‐, and trimetallic catalysts were synthesized and tested in a multi‐batch reactor setup supported by data‐driven modeling for the chemical hydrogenolysis of glycerol to 1,2‐Propanediol (1,2‐PDO) at 220°C under 30 bar hydrogen pressure in aqueous solution. ICP‐OES, N2‐physisorption, scanning

JWST/NIRSpec Reveals the Atmospheric Driver of Saturn's Variable Magnetospheric Rotation Rate

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Past measurements of Saturn's upper atmosphere have allowed only a broad scale view of the temperature and ion density structures within the auroral region. However, Saturn's auroral currents include a planetary period current component that is produced by neutral atmospheric flows.

CIRA-Pulsars-and-Transients-Group/vcstools: v2.5 General Updates

open access: yes, 2021
Upgrades: Added three options to find_pulsar_in_obs.py to only use observations with contiguous frequency channels (--contig), that contain the input frequency channels (--freq_chan) or that are above a minimum time (--min_time) Turned the Gaussian ...

Pulsar magnetogyro ratios and pulsar evolution. III - Magnetic field generation

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 1984
Evidence to support the earlier contention that the primary mechanism of magnetic field generation in short-period (P< or approx. =0.5 s) pulsars is the thermally driven, Hall field limited battery effect is presented.

Optimizing the predictive validity of NIRS kinetic profiles to predict aerobic capacity from a resting skeletal muscle occlusion test

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, Volume 111, Issue 3, Page 738-750, 1 March 2026.
Abstract Measuring and monitoring individual cardiorespiratory fitness through a valid and accessible non‐exhaustive surrogate is required. Techniques measuring haemodynamics have shown promise, and this study aimed to optimize the predictive validity of these approaches alongside developing predictive equations.

Multiomics Analyses Reveal an Essential Role of Tryptophan in Treatment of csDMARDs in Rheumatoid Arthritis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 9, 13 February 2026.
Rheumatoid arthritis is a disease characterized by joint inflammation. Approximately 50% of patients show insufficient response to traditional synthetic disease‐modifying antirheumatic drugs. This study aims to elucidate differential molecular profiles of the mechanisms underlying drug responses through multi‐omics strategy.

General relativistic effects on the pulse profile of fast pulsars

open access: yes, 1985
The recent discovery of millisecond pulsars has led to several theories about the structure and radiation characteristics of rapidly rotating neutron stars.

Gravity Tests with Radio Pulsars in Perturbative and Nonperturbative Regimes

open access: yes, 2022
Searches for empirical clues beyond Einstein's general relativity (GR) are crucial to understand gravitation and spacetime. Radio pulsars have been playing an important role in testing gravity theories since 1970s.
