FEATURES OF LONG-TERM MECHANICAL CIRCULATORY SUPPORT WITH CONTINUOUS-FLOW PUMP
In a review of the comparative analysis of methods and tools for long-term mechanical circulatory support with continuous flow and pulsatile flow implantable pumps. Particular attention is paid to the choice of the optimal modes of the operation of pumps

A Pressure Microsensor Made of Parylene‐C for Use as Medical Implant
A monolithic parylene‐C pressure sensor with gold strain gauges provides 6.2 μV$\mu{\rm V}$·mmHg$\cdot{\rm mmHg}$−1$^{-1}$ sensitivity. The morphology of a sputtered thin film strain sensor is granular/columnar, which results in a high gauge factor of 7.5. Thermal bonding and parylene‐C coating create a hermetic cavity.

A General Scaling Law of Vascular Tree: Optimal Principle of Bifurcations in Pulsatile Flow [PDF]
Murray’s law, as the best-known optimal relationship between bifurcation calibers, is obtained based on the assumption of steady-state Poiseuille blood flow and is mostly accurate in small vessels.

Pulsatile flow past an oscillating cylinder [PDF]
A fundamental study to characterize the flow around an oscillating cylinder in a pulsatile flow environment is investigated. This work is motivated by a new proposed design of the total artificial lung (TAL), which is envisioned to provide better gas exchange.

Optimization of Magnetic Milli‐Spinner for Robotic Endovascular Intervention
This work presents the design optimization of a multifunctional magnetic milli‐spinner for high‐speed propulsion and efficient clot debulking. The optimized design achieves an ultrafast swimming velocity of 55 cm/s (≈175 body lengths/s) in saline water, enabling stable upstream swimming against strong physiological flows and establishing magnetic milli‐
