Multifunctional Adhesive Hydrogel for Rapid Cardiac Hemostasis and Antibacterial Protection
A multifunctional polyacrylamide/gelatin/tannic acid hydrogel (PGT) is presented for rapid cardiac hemostasis under wet, dynamic conditions. Surface tannic acid coating enables instantaneous wet adhesion, accelerates coagulation, and confers antibacterial activity within a single platform.

Turbulent puffs in transitional pulsatile pipe flow at moderate pulsation amplitudes [PDF]
We show that, in the transitional regime of pulsatile pipe flow, at moderate-to-high amplitudes 0.5≲≲1, the first long-lived turbulent structures are localized and take the form of the puffs and slugs observed in statistically steady pipe flow.
