A Simple Carrier-Based Modulation for the SVM of the Matrix Converter [PDF]
Today, industry has not fully embraced the matrix converter solution. One important reason is its high control complexity. It is therefore relevant to propose a simpler but efficient modulation scheme, similar as three phase voltage source inverter ...

Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

Wireline equalization using pulse-width modulation [PDF]
Abstract-High-speed data links over copper cables can be effectively equalized using pulse-width modulation (PWM) pre-emphasis. This provides an alternative to the usual 2-tap FIR filters. The use of PWM pre-emphasis allows a channel loss at the Nyquist frequency of ~30dB, compared to ~20dB for a 2-tap symbol-spaced FIR filter. The use of PWM fits well

IGFBP4 knockdown (KD) impairs preadipocyte proliferation and is associated with IGF1R protein downregulation and attenuated AKT phosphorylation. The mechanisms by which IGFBP4 KD influences the IGF1R/AKT signaling pathway involve newly synthesized proteins and lysosomal degradation pathways. Created in BioRender.

Improvement of Pulse-Width Modulation Algorithm for Thermal Plant Control
The results of the pulse-width modulation algorithms analysis are presented in the paper. The following two algorithms are analyzed: pulse-width modulator (PWM) based on the sawtooth waveform generator and PWM based on an integrator and a switch element.

Effect of terahertz irradiation on DNA damage repair in living cells
We investigated the effect of terahertz (THz) wave irradiation on DNA double‐strand break (DSB) repair in living cells. We found that THz irradiation enhanced DSB repair at specific frequencies, whereas heat treatment inhibited it, indicating that this effect is nonthermal and frequency‐specific.

Phase accumulated carrier pulse width modulation
An alternative approach to digital PWM generation uses an accumulator rather than a counter to generate the carrier. This offers several advantages.
