Conduction mechanisms of epitaxial EuTiO3 thin films
To investigate leakage current density versus electric field characteristics, epitaxial EuTiO3 thin films were deposited on (001) SrTiO3 substrates by pulsed laser deposition and were post-annealed in a reducing atmosphere.

Hysteresis-Free Nanosecond Pulsed Electrical Characterization of Top-Gated Graphene Transistors [PDF]
We measure top-gated graphene field effect transistors (GFETs) with nanosecond-range pulsed gate and drain voltages. Due to high-k dielectric or graphene imperfections, the drain current decreases ~10% over time scales of ~10 us, consistent with charge ...

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Deposition and characterization of copper chalcopyrite based solar cells using electrochemical techniques [PDF]
Cu(In,Ga)Se2 films were electrodeposited on molybdenum substrates from a single pH buffered bath and annealed in a reducing selenium atmosphere. The opto-electronic properties of the films were characterized using a potentiostatically- controlled three ...

Nickel coating on high strength low alloy steel by pulse current deposition
Nickel is a silvery-white metal mostly used to enhance the value, utility, and lifespan of industrial equipment and components by protecting them from corrosion. Nickel is commonly used in the chemical and food processing industries to prevent iron from contamination. Since the properties of nickel can be controlled and varied over broad ranges, nickel

Duplex Stainless Steel Laser‐Surface Textured: Stability in Brine Solution
Controlled laser‐surface treatment (LST) of duplex DSS2205 steel is performed to increase its stability in brine solution under cyclic electrochemical assays. The superior protection with respect to flat and smooth panels is attributed to the presence of FeCr2O4 as the main protective oxide layer in the LST surface, after corrosion tests. The stability
